Attention was given to sculpting the forms and proportions of the face. Created using Zbrush 3.0. ©2009 Brent Paige. Hunter - Inspired by the pen and paper game Hunter: The Reckoning, this character is an every day mortal imbued with the ability to see monsters that walk amongst society. Character was sculpted from scratch using ZBrush 3.0, and finalized using 3DsMax 2008. Texturing done in Photoshop 7.0. ©2009 Brent Paige. Smaug- Based upon the character Smaug as depicted in the book The Hobbit. Design was inspired by John Howe paintings and Tolkien's original drawings. Modeled in Z Brush and 3Ds Max. Textures created in photoshop using a combination of photo texture manipulation and hand painting. 5560 tris ©2009 Brent Paige. Skeksis- The character design of the Skeksis race is truly well done, and it was a joy bringing one of them to life in the game world. I created a short animation to convey the character's personality as seen in the movie. Textures were painted in Corel Painter then shrunk to proper resolution using Photoshop; modeling was done in 3DsMax. © 2008 Brent Paige.
